Wesgreen International School is a British Curriculum school located in the Muwaileh area of Sharjah. The school is managed by the GEMS Education Group and offers a high standard curriculum.

The school is divided into three sections: Primary school for KG1 to Grade 4 students after which students will move to either Girls or Boys Secondary School where they continue Grade 5 to Grade 13. Wesgreen ensures that students achieve their optimal social, physical, emotional, and academic potential in a world-class learning environment. The curriculum offers students the opportunity to develop global citizens who contribute to a better and peaceful world.

Kindergarten students benefit from a combination of the international curriculum which includes The Early Years Foundation Stage program, the UK National Curriculum, and the Cambridge Primary Program. Grade 1 to Grade 6 students follows the Cambridge Primary Program which prepares students for the smooth transition to the Secondary stage (Grade 7 and Grade 8). Grades 9 to Grade 13 students follow the CIE program for Cambridge IGCSE, A level and AS level examinations. Cambridge International A-Levell examination is one of the most popular examinations for students aged 16 to 18 years old. Grade 12 students are admitted to the AS level.

Special training is given for students in Basketball, Swimming, and Cricket in the evenings. Students have access to dedicated playgrounds, football fields, cricket pitches, volleyball and tennis courts.

In a respectful and trusting atmosphere, the Primary School at Wesgreen aims at developing successful, balanced students. The Cambridge primary course offers students a world-class education in English, Mathematics, and science for the development of learning skills and understanding. The Program includes active learning and co-curricular activities.

The girls' section offers group 5 to 13 a high standard education that helps prepares students for the Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A2 courses. The campus facilities include fully-equipped classrooms, science labs, computer labs, well-resourced libraries with e-library facilities, play area and a large gymnasium for sports and other activities.

The Secondary Boys section ensures that students become successful youth, who meet future challenges and develop social awareness, civic responsibility and participate actively in the global community. At Wesgreen, students are provided with the chance to reach their full potential.

Fees

For new admissions, a fee of AED 1000 will be due upon acceptance of the Offer Letter and confirmation of enrolment in the applicable academic year.

This fee is non-refundable/non-transferable but adjustable against the first term tuition fee once the student joins the school.

At WGP, the age requirement for admission in FS11 is 4 years by 31st December. FS2 1 and Year 1 students are assessed by the experienced teaching staff who evaluate the child’s readiness for school life. Once an application is submitted, parents/guardians receive a call from the Registrar’s Office for an assessment date.

Students seeking admission in Year 2 to Year 12 must pass the WGP Entrance Exam in both English Language and Mathematics to successfully meet the academic demand within the curriculum. 

  • For admission in Year 13, students are required to submit a copy of their O-level results. The O-Level results are reviewed by the Examinations Officer, before a seat is guaranteed.

  2. 1 Copies of the child’s Passport with valid visa.
  3. 1 Copies of the child’s Birth Certificate.
  4. 1 Copy of the father’s Passport with valid visa.
  5. 1 Copy of the mother’s Passport with valid visa
  6. 1 Copy of Family Book (Khulasa) for UAE Nationals only.
  7. Good Conduct certificate from the previous school.
  8. Continuation Letter from the previous school.
  9. Report of the last examination. (Report Book).
  10. 1 copy Emirates ID. You might be asked to submit the Original Emirates ID for Ministry Registration.
  11. A copy of the vaccination card
  12. Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
  13. For the students who come from outside U.A.E a transfer certificate and final report should be attested from the Ministry of Education, Foreign Affair and the U A E Embassy in your country.
