Virginia International Private School is a US Curriculum School in Khalifa City B (Shakbout City), Abu Dhabi. The school began commencement of its activities from September 2015. VIPS is committed to providing its students with the attributes and skill sets necessary for a 21st-century citizen. The American based school emphasizes Science, Maths, Engineering, Arts, and Technology (STEAM) across its curriculum. Elementary Curriculum (Grade 1 to Grade 5) mainly focuses on the core subjects Science, Art, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM). Admission to the Virginia International School is based on seat vacancy and an informal assessment of the child. To begin with, complete and sign the application form. Submit the necessary documents which are the following.

(1) Copy of both parents’ passports with UAE residence for non-Emirati parents.

(2) Copy of child’s passport with UAE residence for non-Emirati students.

(3) Copy of immunization records for your child.

(4) Copy of child’s UAE ID, both sides, or a copy of the application for the UAE ID.

(5) Copy of the birth certificate of the child or any document meant to act as a birth certificate.

(6) All students other than KG1 must bring the previous marks report if transfer from other countries and previous marks report with the UAE ID if they are transferred from another school inside the country.

(7) Two recent color pictures for your child measuring 4 X 6 cm.

The birth certificate does not have to be attested if the child’s birth certificate was issued from the UAE, Canada, USA, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand. All other nationalities must have the birth certificate attested by the UAE Ministry of Health, UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy of the country that issued the birth certificate.

A Copy of the transfer certificate and report card shall also be needed if your child is coming from another school.

The School will record the date and time for each parent submitting registration forms and documents as a means of creating the placement for children.
