Description

The University of Sharjah was established in 1997 and offers higher education in a range of fields from Sharia, Law, Health Sciences, Fine Arts and Design, Medicine, Engineering and Communication. The University is located in the University City of Sharjah.

The University of Sharjah has three other branches located in Kalba, Khor Fakkan and Dhaid. The University also offers a range of degree programs at the diploma, MSc/MA, BSc/BA, PhD levels and Executive MBA (EMBA) program. The spacious and well-equipped campus has all the necessary facilities for a comfortable time at the university. Students have access to outstanding campus resources and a wide range of opportunities for cultural and social activities.

The campus has two gymnasiums that offer sports facilities of every kind including swimming, football, and tennis. Other facilities include Food Courts, Healthcare, Hair and Beauty Salons, Entertainment and Social Life, Special Needs Resource Center, Student Success Center, Dorms, and Child Care Services. Students also actively take part in a wide range of athletic activities. The campus has two state-of-the-art fully equipped sports complexes with Olympic-size swimming pools, gymnasiums, multipurpose indoor sports halls, running track and more. Sports at the University include? swimming, bodybuilding, volleyball, shooting, karate, aerobics, yoga, table tennis, bowling, chess, tennis, squash, billiards, snooker, football, and basketball.

The University has 14 colleges offering a wide range of programs at the diploma, bachelor’s, masters and doctoral levels.
