Universal American School is an IB, US High School Diploma curriculum based school for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, located in Dubai Festival City. Since 2005, the UAS has helped students develop confidence, leadership qualities, and compassion.

The Universal American School offers American and International education based on inquiry that enables students to be critical thinkers and responsible citizens. The school recently became a not-for-profit school managed by the Al Futtaim Education Foundation. The UAS provides a real-world learning experience and faces academic, artistic and athletic challenges: think critically, creatively and independently, communicate in a proficient way, and be international leaders who participate in local and international projects that improve humanity and help to sustain a peaceful world. The school employs highly professional and dedicated teachers who create a safe, secure, fun and engaging learning environment. Administrative, teachers and staff all work together to support and encourage the greater community to join the school family in order to enrich and enhance the learning of students. The UAS has active groups and people who are fully involved in the creation and maintenance of a dynamic, caring school such as the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and Fine Arts Booster Club.

The Universal American School is a sprawling campus which is beautifully landscaped with state-of-the-art facilities throughout the school which includes Science and ICT laboratories, a fully equipped athletic field and track, a football pitch, multi-sport gymnasium, indoor and outdoor covered play areas, multi-purpose hall, two fully equipped art studios, language rooms, dedicated libraries for elementary and secondary students and a medical clinic.

The UAS offers students a range of learning pathways from primary school to graduate education in accordance with their needs and interests. The elementary school offers a curriculum consistent with both US AERO standards and the IB Primary Years Program (PYP). A wide variety of courses aligned with US AERO standards are provided for students in grades 6-10. Students, counselors' teachers, and parents work together closely during their 10th grade to choose a suitable, graduation route. Students in Grade 11 can choose from the IB Diploma Programme or the Advanced Placement (AP) and AERO pathway. The Early Years follow the Creative Curriculum an extensive, research-based curriculum based on the PYP, and includes exploration and discovery as a learning method, which enables children to develop trust, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). Middle School students follow the US curriculum based on AERO standards. The high school offers a rigorous preparatory program with the AERO, Common Core Plus standards.

The Universal American School offers an extensive range of extracurricular activities and clubs which include sports, art, creative writing, drama, music, and more.

Complete the online application form. An acknowledgment will be sent containing the next steps of the registration process. Submit the supporting documents by uploading them on the application form, or emailing them. A member of the admissions team will contact you to take you through the next steps. Once your child has been offered a place, a letter of acceptance will be issued along with joining information.  To secure your child's place a non-refundable deposit of 3,000 AED should be paid within 7 days of receiving the acceptance. This amount will subsequently be deducted from the first semester’s tuition fees.
