Bachelor’s Degree Application Requirements
Each applicant is required to submit the following documents:
a.Required Personal Documents
- Original/certified Emirati high school certificate or its equivalent.
- Copy of a valid passport (including Edbara and Unified Number for UAE Nationals) and valid residence for non-nationals.
- Copy of family book (for UAE nationals).
- Copy of a valid Emirates ID.
- Certificate of good conduct (criminal status).
- National Service certificate or exemption letter (for male UAE nationals).
- 6 recent passport-sized photos with the full name written on the back.
b. Application Fees and Payment Details
- Payment of Non-refundable application fee: 1,300 AED (excluding VAT).
- Refundable student deposit: 1,000 AED.
- Student ID fee: 150 AED (excluding VAT).
- Semester registration and services fee: 770 AED per semester (excluding VAT).
c. Other Application Steps
- Complete the application form.

General Terms
- For missing proficiency tests the applicants can be conditionally accepted for one academic year.
- These proficiency criteria will be applied for both new and conditional continued students.
- Students who have completed non-Ministry of Education high school curricula do not need to prove their English proficiency if the program is taught in English
- Applicants whose high school average is less than 60% may be accepted after register/Pass in 3 remedial courses English, Math and Arabic conducted by UAQU (Not applicable for Bachelor of law program)

Master's Program Admission Requirements
1 - Admission Requirements for the Master of Digital Communication Program
- The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Communication/Media, or its equivalent from a recognized university by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the United Arab Emirates.
- The applicant’s cumulative GPA should not be less than 2.5 out of 4. Applicants with a GPA lower than 2.5 but greater than or equal to 2 may be accepted, provided they successfully complete three preparatory courses with a GPA of 3 out of 4 in each course, with the courses to be determined by the College Board at the beginning of each semester.
- The applicant must meet the English language proficiency requirement or its equivalent as follows:

Transfer Students Admission:
- Meeting the admission requirements for the Master of Digital Communication Program.
- The student must be in good academic standing (not on probation and not previously dismissed from the institution they attended).
- The minimum GPA for acceptance into the program is 2.5.
2 - Admission Requirements for the Master’s Degree - College of Law
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Law or its equivalent from a university recognized by the Ministry of Education - Higher Education and Scientific Research Affairs in the United Arab Emirates.
- Students holding a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related field from a university accredited and recognized by the Accreditation Commission may be exempt from specific law prerequisites based on the evaluation by the College of Law Board.
- The applicant’s cumulative GPA should not be less than 2.5 out of 4. Applicants with a GPA lower than 2.5 but greater than or equal to 2 may be accepted, provided they successfully complete three preparatory courses with a GPA of 3 out of 4 in each course, with the courses to be determined by the College Board at the beginning of each semester.

Exemption from English Language Requirements:
- Any other proficiency test recognized by the Accreditation Commission.
- Students enrolled in bachelor’s programs who have graduated within the last year are exempt from the English language proficiency test.
- Completion of a preparatory English language course offered online or in person by the university.
Conditional Admission
All required documents must be submitted. Conditional admission may be granted under the following circumstances:
- Students with a GPA lower than 2.5 but greater than or equal to 2 may be conditionally admitted to the master's program, contingent upon successfully completing three preparatory courses with a GPA of 3 or higher in each course.
