The Winchester School is a GEMS Education school following the National Curriculum for England (NCFE) located in the Gardens locality near Jebel Ali.

The basic concepts of GEMS enhance the curriculum by providing students with a learning approach that goes beyond memorization of facts.

Winchester School has two dedicated buildings for the Primary and Secondary School. The school offers various extracurricular activities and has state-of-the-art facilities. Classrooms are equipped with overhead projectors, Promethean/Pull down screens and lockers to store books and bags. The spacious indoor multi-purpose stadium serves as a play area as well as a public speaking and theatrical talent area. The school has a variety of indoor and outdoor sports fields, well-equipped Art & Craft and Music Rooms, Science Laboratories, six Computer Laboratories with the internet connection and multi-media facilities,  two well-resourced libraries, two STEAM Cafes equipped with LEGO, Robotics, 3D Printers and Doodlers, BTEC lab, 3D room and lot more.

Students follow the Early Years Foundation Stage program at Foundation Stage 1 and 2. Students follow the broad and balanced National Curriculum for England from Year 1 to 9 and follow IGCSE subjects in Years 10 and 11. Years 12 and 13 AS and A level subjects are focused. The school also offers BTEC Nationals Level 3 Diploma from PEARSON in Business, IT and Applied sciences.

At Winchester School, integration of technology enables students to use VR in lessons and incorporate AI and coding into the curriculum. STEAM is an integral part of the curriculum across the school. In addition, the school focuses on personality development, social responsibility, Islamic understanding, and innovation skills.

Registration and admission for the Academic Year starting September is done online through the school website. Admissions to classes depend upon vacancies. There is no entrance test but an age-related assessment at the FS level. For all other classes, there may be an entrance test at the discretion of the school.

Complete the online registration form. Submit the non-refundable, non-adjustable registration fees AED 500/- online or in school.

Contact the admission team for assessment date, if you have registered for Year 2 to Year 10. Meet and greet with a member of the leadership team and the Medical team.

When an offer of a seat in the school is extended, an admission fee of AED 2500 is needed to secure the seat, payable by cash or credit card.

All children are welcome to apply to The Winchester School, regardless of nationality, ethnicity or religion.

The Winchester School is a truly international institution.  The Winchester School is a fully inclusive school, however, there may be limited spaces for children with additional learning needs in some year groups.

Each child must take an age-appropriate placement test to ensure that the children are rightly placed and supported for the high-quality education on offer at The Winchester School.

Admission will be confirmed only on the submission of all the documents to the School and will be subject to Knowledge and Human Development Authority approval.
