The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls
Description
The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls is a unique and highly prestigious school. Built in the grounds of the Palace, it opened in 2000 to provide an international education for girls, while ensuring they have a deep understanding of their culture, heritage and Islamic faith. Approximately 95% of our students are Emirati whose parents have specifically chosen our school because of its mission: Honoring the past. Educating for the future. Our parents tell us this is something we truly deliver on a daily basis. It is the golden thread that’s weaves through everything we do.
We have exceptionally high standards in all aspects of school life. Students at our school work very hard and behave to very high standards. SZPAG has been accredited by CIS and NEASC and is recognized by the College Board as designated to offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses. It achieved a rating of Very Good in the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) inspections in 2021, 2018 and 2016.
Mission
Our educational institution caters to a diverse student body aged 3 to 19. It follows a co-educational model from Pre-K through Grade 3, transitioning to an all-girls setup from Grade 4 onward. Our campus comprises three distinct buildings situated on one shared grounds. The Early Childhood building hosts Pre-K to Grade 1, providing a purpose-built environment ideal for nurturing young minds. Grades 2 to 5 find their home in the Elementary building—a bright and welcoming facility equipped with its own canteen, gym, science lab, clinic, and prayer room. Our elegant Secondary building accommodates Grades 6 through 12, creating an ideal setting for the growth and development of young women.
