Our educational institution 

The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys is a unique and highly prestigious school. Situated in the heart of downtown Abu Dhabi, the school opened in 2015 and accommodates a diverse student body aged 3 to 19. It follows a co-educational model from Pre-K through Grade 3, transitioning to an all-boys setup from Grade 4 onward. Our campus comprises a single building with shared grounds. The ground floor houses Pre-K to Grade 1, while Grades 2 to 5 occupy the first and second floors. Our Secondary students occupy floors 2 and 3. The school boasts excellent facilities, including a canteen, two sports halls, two swimming pools, science labs, clinics, prayer rooms, and a spacious outdoor field.

 

The school provides state-of-the-art modern facilities throughout the campus. Indoor facilities at SZPAB includes a sports hall, 2 LEGO innovation rooms, 2 Specialist Digital Learning Rooms, 2 Swimming pools, 1 Green Studio, 5 Science Laboratories, Special rooms for Music, Art, Drama, and Technology. Outdoor facilities at SZPAB includes 5 lanes running track, Football field and Rugby field, Climbing apparatus, Basketball courts, Skateboard Park, General outdoor play and picnic areas, Two rooftop play areas, Covered play areas, and a picnic area.

The American Curriculum is delivered along with a strong Islamic and Arabic approach with a focus on local culture and knowledge such as My Identity and UAE National Studies. The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys holds an appreciation for the International and World community of the United Arab Emirates; its vision aims at securing the future of the UAE by providing a strong community that understand the legacy and traditions and also have the skills and long-term learning measures to meet the challenges of tomorrow and take up the leadership roles. SZPAB follows the American Curriculum and ensures that all learners make the most of their abilities.

In addition to academic excellence, SZPAB offers a range of special programs for students to enhance leadership skills and innovation skills such as The Leadership Curriculum, The My Identity Programme, the Qur’an Programme, Computer Explorers Club and more. The school delivers an international education as per the American Curriculum aligned with the Massachusetts State Standards.

Sport is highly focused on the SZPAB and every week student’s benefit from three physical training lessons. Kindergarten follows a play-based learning approach and enhances the reading, literacy and numeracy skills of children preparing them for Primary Years.

The Arabic department focuses on Arabic, Islamic and UAE Social Studies. The Core Subject Department includes English Language Arts, Mathematics and Science. Visual and Performing Arts include Art, Drama, and Music. The Physical Education department includes PR and Swimming lessons. Other enhanced Curriculum subjects include Social Studies, French and ICT.

Fees

The following table shows the 2024-2025 applied tuition fees for The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys.

Please note: The above fees are not inclusive of uniforms and transportation. The purchase of a school digital device is compulsory from grades 3 through 12 and is not included in the above fees. Parents will be informed of the cost of the device. School fees for the next academic year are subject to change in accordance with Article 51 the Bylaw of Federal Law No. (28) of 1999 Concerning Private Education and applicable regulations.

 

Tuition Fee Payment

Annual tuition fees are paid in installments. The 5% registration fee is due upon the student’s acceptance to the academy as per ADEK regulation (Policy 39). The remaining tuition fees are paid in three installments.

 

Non-payment of fees

?     The school may withhold examination report cards, transfer certificates (or block a transfer on eSIS) and/or re-registering a student until all outstanding dues are settled.

?     The school will send three warning letters to the student’s parents/guardian followed by the ADEK guidelines for non-payment.

Complete the online inquiry form. Admission assessment is required for all students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 for entrance and grade placement. Placements are offered based on successful completion of entrance criteria and are subject to a place being available in the requested grade. Once a student has been accepted, subject to space availability, placement will be offered by Email and by SMS to parents. If the entering level is full, the accepted student will be placed on the waiting list.
