Key features of the school

The school offers non-discriminatory, mixed-gender education for Emirati and foreign nationals within Umm Al Quwain and its vicinity.

Modeling itself after the SABIS system, incorporating aspects of American, British, and UAE pedagogical approaches.

It prepares students with the skills needed to succeed in standardized tests such as the IGCSE, AS/A-levels, and US-based AP® and SAT exams.

The main language of instruction is English; however, focus is laid on teaching Arabic and UAE social science courses.

Academic and student life

Focus is laid on ongoing assessment and consistent practice as well as personalized instruction to enable improvement among students.

The SABIS Student Life Organization gives students opportunities to develop leadership skills, volunteer, and grow personally.

Ongoing events, clubs, sporting, and cultural activities provide avenues for teamwork and creative thinking in students.

Admissions Process

School Tour & Information

To book a physical campus tour, request information by E-mail, or book an online meeting, please fill in this online Interest Form. Our Admissions Office will get back to you shortly.

Application

Interested parents/guardians would need to apply online by filling in this Application Form or in person at the school by obtaining the application pack from the school Reception desk.

Parents/Guardians make sure to submit the required documents listed in the application, either by attaching soft copies in the online application form, or by physically submitting the documents at the school.

Once the application is received, the Admissions Office schedules an appointment with the parents/guardians for a school presentation, in which parents/guardians are introduced to SABIS® in all its aspects.

Interview/Diagnostic Test

Once our Admissions Office confirms that the application is complete and ready to be processed, they will coordinate with parents/guardians to set a date for the interview/diagnostic test, whether online or in person.

- Applicants for Pre-KG to Grade 2 undergo an interview

- Applicants for Grade 3 and above undergo entrance exam(s)

Admission Decision

Admission decisions are made after careful evaluation of the candidates. The interview/diagnostic test results will be communicated to parents/guardians, as either:

- Accepted

- Needs to be retested

- Needs to attend accelerated courses

- Accepted to a lower grade

- Rejected

Parents/guardians of accepted students will be asked to proceed with the payment of registration fees.

Parents/Guardians can make the registration payment either:

Directly to the school’s Accounting Office
Through a bank transfer
