Students also participate in sports, music, arts, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Educational trips, and visits and Model United Nations (MUN).

Students can choose from Fine Art, Photography, Graphic Design at GCSE and A Level from Year 9. BSAK's drama program includes a range of activities to engage and challenge learners. With over 450 instrumental classes taught weekly by a committed team of 10 full-time and 3 part-time professors, the Music Department plays a complete and active part in the school along with Aural and Theory classes.

All BSAK Primary School students are encouraged to accomplish their best in academic, sports and creative areas while at the same moment developing their social abilities, leadership skills, and respect for each other, kindness, and helpfulness and become confident global citizens. Primary School follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and the UK National Curriculum. The National Curriculum of England and UAE Curriculum topics are intertwined, providing a rich, balanced and rounded experience for students. BSAK Secondary school aims to provide possibilities for learners to flourish as young people, building values that will allow them to face the ever-changing world as globally responsible citizens.

The British School Al Khubairat follows the British National Curriculum along with the UAE Curriculum in Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies.

Students pursue a rich and balanced curriculum at Secondary School during Year 7 to 9 before they choose their GCSE. Students study 9 GCSE subjects during Year 10 and 11 and are provided with 22 subject choices. In the sixth form, 23 A Level Options and a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in sports, business studies and engineering are offered at the school.
