The Aquila School is an International British School for FS1 to Year 6 students located in the heart of Dubailand between the Al Ain road and The Villa communities.
The Aquila School follows the National Curriculum for England and started commencement of its operations from September 2018. The school has so much to offer to the children. The dedicated and professional staff are committed to making sure every child develops a love for learning and acquires the skills and knowledge for the future. In September 2019, Aquila School is all set to expand to offer Year7. The school was awarded the 2018 Best Design Education Project, for the quality and design of its campus and facilities.
Aquila School supports student education through a strong, children-focused curriculum, and enriches after-school programs, and constantly focuses on each child’s ability to amaze. The school encourages children to make decisions about their own learning and recognizes and fosters the gifts and abilities of each student. The Aquila School is operated by the International Schools Partnership (ISP) family which ensures outstanding international learning connections, excellent quality, and governance. In addition, the school is all set to offer IGCSE at Year 11, and BTEC and IB for Years 12 and 13. The collective goal of all the diverse individuals at the Aquila School is to build a better world.
The school offers state-of-the-art facilities which include a spacious classroom filled with natural light, an auditorium, two large multi-purpose sports halls, swimming pools, multi-purpose astro pitch, and shaded outdoor play areas, music, art and dance studios, food technology, cookery, and design technology rooms and a well-resourced library. Students are provided with CAS (Community, Action, and Service) activities by all teaching staff including the leadership of the school. A whole range of cultural, educational and creative activities are available which includes drama, basketball, tennis, making eco bird feeders, gardening, Quran, Arabic calligraphy, cookery, baking, Glee, creative writing, art and many more.

Using the age cut-off from KHDA, as well as your child‘s most recent school report, Aquila School will make sure that there is no confusion over which is the right year group for them, whether you are moving from another school in Dubai or from out of the emirate. The school follows fair and appropriate procedures regarding the selection of children. It sets out the requirements for admissions in line with KHDA regulations.

Once the School has reviewed your application, they will invite you to meet with them to give you the opportunity to ask questions about the school. The School will engage your child in a range of activities appropriate to their age and stage of development.
Aquila School will contact you as soon as possible after the visit. Once you receive an offer, you have one week to complete registration and to pay the registration fee to secure your place. The registration fee is 2,500 AED and is deductible from the first term’s school fees. This fee is non-refundable. By this stage, your child’s documents will have all been submitted.
The school fees should be paid for the term before the first day of school. Placement of students in their new class is carried out by teachers and senior teams, and parents will be invited into school before the term begins to find out about the day-to-day running of the school.
