Sharjah Indian School is managed by the Indian Association Sharjah and is a senior secondary school established in 1979 following the CBSE Curriculum.
The school's goal is to provide education by emphasizing children's intellectual, physical, aesthetic, social, mental and moral development. The curriculum and work program conforms to the requirements of the New Delhi Central Board of Secondary Education. The teaching medium at Sharjah Indian School is English, and the Hindi language is compulsory. Arabic and Islamic are taught as per the UAE Ministry of Education guidelines. The school creates an environment that nurtures their skills and provides experiences through which they develop key abilities, knowledge, confidence, and leadership qualities.

Each laboratory is well equipped with upgraded software versions and the latest system settings. Besides their curriculum, the students receive training in software that is most often used. Senior students are provided will fully equipped Physics, Biology, Engineering Drawing, Psychology, Chemistry, and Home Science Labs. The school offers large shaded play areas in order to create the right environment for physical activities. Sports facilities include pitches and courts for basketball, volleyball, football, and other games.
