Sharjah American International School is a truly International School offering the American Curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and is situated in the Al Ramaqia area of Sharjah.

Sharjah American International School is an attractive campus offering students a stimulating learning environment with state-of-the-art facilities and features. Sports and Outdoor facilities at SAIS include two swimming pools, indoor sports arena, playing fields, multi-purpose hall and separate play area for KG1 and KG2 students. SAIS has two ICT labs with over 60 computers and classrooms are integrated with Internet connectivity. In addition, the school has a well-resourced library equipped with computers, Science Laboratories, multi-purpose sports hall, Medical room, Cafeteria, Book store, and Prayer room.
Primary School which is the Kindergarten has a learning environment that builds on a strong tradition in which children learn by experimenting, exploring and solving problems in a safe and stimulating environment. The curriculum is designed to cater for all aspects of the child's intellectual, emotional, social and physical development, providing a strong base of knowledge and skills. Core subjects include English, Science, and Mathematics along with Arabic, Art, Music, Computer and Physical Education.
At SAIS, Elementary school (Grade 1 to Grade 4) offers students a safe, challenging and educational environment. The ES curriculum will develop a range of learning skills, in which students will play a more active role in their own learning, to gain a greater understanding of different concepts. Arabic, English, Math, Science, Art, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Information Technology are the main subjects at this stage.
The Middle School trains students to participate actively in various programs and provides a solid academic background on various subjects and promotes the full intellectual, physical, moral and social development of students. A range of extracurricular activities and clubs are offered to students at this stage.
SAIS follows the US curriculum tied to the Common Core State Standards in Math and English and the Massachusetts NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) for science. Secondary school students are enrolled in a rigorous US curriculum which encourages students to achieve their full potential. SAIS offers a wide range of school choices based on the American curriculum which also includes fine arts, economics, foreign languages, and computer science.

Complete the application for admission. Students are screened during the admissions procedure on the basis of academic potential, developmental maturity, and readiness for the school's program. Each child must take an age-related placement test to ensure that the children are prepared for the high quality education offered at Sharjah American International School.
Entrance testing is held according to the admission procedure. The entrance test focuses on Mathematics and English ability and if age and/or grade level is appropriate. The offer of a place is not solely on the entrance test; previously mentioned qualities are equally important.
