Description
Scholars International Academy is an international school following the British Curriculum from Foundation Stage to Year 13. The school is located in the Muwaileh area of Sharjah.
The school offers the National Curriculum of England and Wales with the Cambridge Curriculum program thus delivering the best British international education standard. The SIA academic foundation fosters the development of learning, curiosity, and passion. The program offers students the opportunity to learn with confidence, responsibility, and reflection in a rigorous scholarship program.
Students begin their education from the Early Years Foundation Stage program and continue their IGSCE examinations in year 11. The Cambridge Advanced Program will be carried out to provide students with the opportunity to complete the Cambridge International AS and A-Level and obtain the Cambridge AICE Diploma at Scholars International Academy. The standards and expectations set for SIA are high and excellence is encouraged and students are prepared for the ever-changing 21st-century world.
The school empowers young children in a student-centered environment. The objective is to develop the skills and a sense of challenge necessary to succeed in the global ever-changing society. The school nurtures the whole child and strives to promote academic, physical, personal, and social growth within the environmentally friendly campus.
Opened in 2007, the 7-acre SIA Campus is designed to help the school deliver a high standard quality education program. The campus environment invites children to engage experiment and explore within their classrooms and throughout the school. The Commons in the school center is solely for social development. This covered grassy common is located between two wings and is where students come together, interact and engage. Besides, the school has a canteen providing healthy food, a well-resourced library with IT stations and storytelling corners, two 6-lane Semi-Olympic swimming pools, playgrounds, multi-sports pitches, ICT labs, performing arts spaces which includes drama room, music room, design and technology room, yoga studio and art room.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is the FS 1 and FS 2 is the starting point for formal SIA schooling. This program sets standards to encourage education and learning to ensure that children are ready for school. The program gives children a wide range of knowledge and skills that form the base for the future.
The Primary School (Year 1 to Year 4) follows the UK Curriculum supported by the framework of the Cambridge Curriculum. At the primary level, the core topics are English, Mathematics, and Science. The curriculum includes Arabic, Islamic, Geographic, Art, History, Design and Technology, Social Personal Development, Performing Arts, and PE. SIA emphasizes the importance of extracurricular activities in addition to academics. The Scholars International Academy's secondary level ensures that students have the expertise they need to build a prosperous future. Once the students are promoted to the high school program, a greater degree of critical thinking, tasks, and learning is introduced to ensure that the SIA students are well equipped to address various challenges. The Sixth Form which is the Year 12 and Year 13 aims to provide first-class British education to students, which will be of fundamental importance for shaping their future.
Extracurricular activities include art, music, dance, drama, athletics, basketball, badminton, cricket, health-related fitness, handball, football, netball, softball, hockey, rounders, swimming, rugby, volleyball, and more.

Submit an online application form for your child. The admissions team will contact you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule an assessment for your child.
You will then be contacted within 24 hours from the date of the assessment. If your child is offered a seat at SIA, you will be asked to proceed with registration.
For entry into Years 1 to 13, successful completion of the assessment and review of school documents and Years 10-13 the same is followed by an interview with the Principal or Head of Secondary regarding subject selection.
You will be asked to complete paperwork, provide photos and copies of documentation and pay the non – refundable Admission Fee per student (cash).
Joining information will be given to you at the time of registration.
Completion of registration guarantees your child a seat at SIA.
