Safa British School is a British Primary School following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework for Foundation Stage learning (FS1 and FS2) located in Al Meydan Street, Dubai.

Safa British School has outstanding facilities including a fully shaded and heated/chilled 25 m Swimming Pool, a training pool, a shaded outdoor multi-purpose for netball, tennis, basketball, and futsal, an astroturf multi-sport pitch suitable for multi-sports and 5/6 aside football, two outdoor play areas. Indoor facilities include a multi-purpose studio fully equipped with a wooden sprung floor, ballet bars and mirrors, a multi-purpose hall / indoor auditorium for indoor sports and PE including netball, basketball and gymnastics, a well-equipped library, Two ICT suites and a Conference room with projector and sound system.

Fees

A sibling discount of 15% is applied to 3rd child onwards towards tuition fees.

For existing students wishing to re-enroll for the next academic year, a re-registration fee of AED 2,000 will be charged in the third term school fees invoice which will then be offset in the following academic year in term 1 of the next academic year  

Places are only secured once the deposit has been provided to the school

Safa British School welcomes applications throughout the year for children of all nationalities. To begin with, download the application form and return it with the supporting documents to the reception desk. Alternatively, if you are unable to visit the school in person, you can scan and return the completed application form and supporting documents by email. Supporting documents are listed on the school’s website.

To complete your application, the school requires an AED 500 non-refundable administration fee. Once the school receives your application form, supporting documents and application fee, you will be contacted by the admissions team for a school visit.

School visits for Foundation Stage 1 and Foundation Stage 2 are based primarily on observation of the child at play in a classroom setting, engaging them in conversation and looking at the physical development and body awareness.

Assessments for Year 1 to 6 are conducted either individually or in the form of a small group to ensure that it is a relaxed, stress-free experience. They include basic mathematics, reading, and writing. The child is also asked to tell the assessor about themselves and to engage in general conversation appropriate to their age. Any documents such as previous reports, awards, or other indications of special interest or talent will be welcomed to assist in forming a more complete picture of your child.

After the assessment, you will be contacted within a week by the registrar who will inform you whether Safa British School is able to offer a place. Once offered, parents are requested to pay security deposits within 7 days
