Students enjoy open and bright classrooms while also using the educational tools provided for the development of their learning processes such as projectors and computers.

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is the curriculum context designed for children aged 3 to 12 years. It focuses on the development of the entire child as an investigator, in both classrooms and abroad. It focuses on the development of the child as an inquirer, within and beyond the classroom. It has six transdisciplinary concepts, which are explored using knowledge, concepts, and abilities from different topics with a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning. It lays the foundation for the IB Middle Years Program.

The Middle Years (MYP) program is a five-year program that encourages students to link their studies in practice to the real world. The outcome is young people who think creatively, critically and reflectively. The IB MYP is based on knowledge, skills, and attitudes acquired from the IB PYP. Students, who complete the MYP, take up the IB Diploma Program. MYP subjects include Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Mathematics, Arts, Sciences, Physical and Health Education, and Design.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (DP), is for students aged 16 to 19 and is a demanding and worldwide recognized pre-university course that leads to external examinations. This program has gained a reputation for its rigorous evaluation, giving holders of IB diplomas access to the top universities in the world. The International Baccalaureate Career-related Program (IB CP) incorporates the IB's vision and educational principles for students who wish to participate in career-related learning.

Parent Opinion

(5/5) By Fatima Leghari on 15 April, 2022

I have been a RWA parent for over 12 years with 3 happy kids. Primary and secondary school leadership is not only helpful but approachable following an open door policy. A very healthy IB learning environment with the key component being zero tolerance towards bullying and racism to ensure safety and well-being of its students. Only a handful incidents happened in the past where I had to approach the school to resolve an issue but nothing of the sort that can't be handled. Just an opinion that RWA should consider participating more in the extra curricular events happening in Dubai. The kids are fantastic, they just need a bit more exposure and support from the school.
