Next Generation School is located in the Al Barsha area of Dubai and offers an American Common Core curriculum school in conjunction with Islamic education for children from KG to Grade 11.

NGS offers an extensive educational experience that fosters, nurture and blends academic excellence with Islamic values, provides an integrated program of Arabic language and encourages civic responsibility to develop effective contributing members of the society. Children at the Next Generation School explore, investigate, and enjoy in a warm, friendly and secure facility.

The educational program of the Next Generation School is inspired by well-known teaching techniques that provide a truly global learning experience. Educational practices of the 21st century, innovative learning strategies and constant research ensure that every NGS student has an excellent academic base and is challenged to achieve their full potential. NGS offers a comprehensive curriculum with a strong focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and Language Arts. The school has a low student to teacher ratio and adopts a customized approach to teaching which allows each child to reach their highest potential.

NGS is dedicated to fostering students’ knowledge, life skills, Islamic and cultural identities, and values. Next Generation School offers its students an enriched American curriculum tied to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in Math and Literacy, the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) for science and the New York National Standards for Physical Education, Arts, Drama, ICT, and other electives.

Arabic and Islamic studies are taught at the NGS as per the UAE Ministry of Education guidelines. Language areas of speaking, writing, listening and reading skills in Arabic are developed.

The Next Generation School provides a dynamic physical education that helps students to develop a healthy lifestyle. The Physical Education (PE) program includes a range of activities such as athletics, games, self-defense, gymnastics, outdoor sports, swimming, and team sports. Sports facilities include covered volleyball and basketball courts, two semi Olympic swimming pools, tennis courts, and a soccer field.

The curriculum at NGS offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and is divided into Curriculum Enrichment and Curriculum Enhancement. The Curriculum Enrichment program at NGS includes sports, community-based associations, and special interest clubs. The Curriculum Enhancement program includes homework clubs, extra revision classes, study clubs, and after-school tuition.

Parents/Guardians must fill out the Application Form on the school website and submit it to the Registrar’s office.

An application fee is required that includes the placement test at a later date. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

A non-refundable admission fee (Deposit) of 10% of the total school fees is required to secure your child’s seat at Next Generation School. This amount is non-refundable and is applied towards the first quarterly payment of the academic year.

All the supporting documents listed in the Information Packet have to be submitted to the school registrar.

Once a child’s seat is reserved it is the parent’s responsibility to provide all relevant supporting documentation to the school to complete the application process.
