The Manipal Academy of Higher Education was established in 2000 and is located in Dubai International Academic City. The University offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai is an iconic state-of-the-art sprawling campus with purpose-built contemporary classrooms. The campus has cutting-edge laboratories in biotechnology, engineering, and information technology, as well as workshops and studios for programs in interior design and media and communications. Other facilities include a well-resourced library, cafeteria, indoor and outdoor sports facilities with tennis courts, athletic tracks, gym, fitness center, recreation center and more. Students have access to Wi-Fi throughout the campus.

The campus has well-equipped laboratories including Biotechnology Lab Facilities, Information Technology Labs, Media, and Communication Labs, Audio-Visual and Multi-Media Lab, Post-Production Television Lab, Interior Design Labs, Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Lab, Product Design Lab, Pottery Studio, Fashion Design and Technology Labs, and Engineering Departments Labs.

Sports facilities include an indoor basketball court, badminton, volleyball courts, athletics track, cricket nets, tennis courts, a mini-football field, state-of-the-art Gymnasium, recreation rooms with foosball tables, snooker and table tennis tables.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education has 7 schools: School of Interior Design and Architecture, School of Engineering and Information Technology, School of Information Sciences, School of Business, School of Media and Communication, School of Life Sciences, and School of Arts and Humanities.

The School of Interior Design and Architecture offers expertise in interior design, architecture, and planning. Undergraduate programs offered at SODA include Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and BDes - Interior Design. A postgraduate program offered is MA in Interior Design and certificate courses offered include Certificate in Interior Design.

The School of Arts and Humanities offers a BA degree in Humanities with a specialization in Psychology, English and Sociology.

Undergraduate programs offered at the School of Engineering and Information Technology include a B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Evening), Mechatronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering (Evening), Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Evening), and Mechanical Engineering. Postgraduate programs offered include M.Tech degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology, Engineering Management, Digital Electronics, and Advanced Communication, Construction Engineering and Management; and PG Diploma in Data Science.

The School of Information Sciences offers MSc - Information Science and BSc - Information Systems and Management course.

The School of Business offers specialization in accounting, finance, marketing, operations, international business, health care management, HR, and information technology. Undergraduate programs offered include Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Evening, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). Postgraduate programs offered include Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Business Administration - Global Business, and Post Graduate Diploma - Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The School of Media and Communication offers expertise in public relations, advertising, journalism, television production, and visual communication. Programs offered include MA in Media and Communication, BA in Media and Communication, and Certificate Program in Graphics and Multimedia.

The programs offered at the School of Life Sciences include MSc Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, MSc Medical Biotechnology, BSc Food, and Nutrition Science, BSc Biotechnology, Certificate Course in Foundation, and Ph.D. Biotechnology.
