Greenopia Eco Pre-school is an eco-friendly setting following the Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum and Arabic/English Program for children from 18 months to 4 years. The nursery is located in the Al Rowdah area of Abu Dhabi.
Greenopia Eco Pre-school provides quality early childhood training in an environment that is eco-friendly. The nursery provides little Greenopians the best of early childhood experience. The nursery follows the CEHN Eco Healthy Childcare Program and has a shoe-free policy. The nursery is painted using NO-VOC house-hold paints and cleaned with biodegradable, unscented, and non-toxic cleaning products. All toys at Greenopia are PVC free and art supplies are made with products approved by the Art and Creative Materials Institute. All classroom furniture and playground equipment are made of natural materials, fibers and contain no plastic. The nursery has a Recycle Hub where cardboard; aluminum, paper, plastic bottles, and glass are being recycled.
As an environmentally friendly educational community, the nursery is committed to promoting and increasing awareness of environmental responsibility and practices that contribute to sustainable and eco-friendly future children. The Reggio Emilia inspired program is flexible and derives from the ideas, thoughts, and observations of children. The aim is to support lifelong learning and exploration passion among children. The syllabus comprises of themes, Numeracy, literacy, arts and crafts, Nursery Rhymes, and gross motor skills.
Greenopia Pre-School is a friendly and caring facility for children with well-equipped and unique establishments including three Nursery Classes and three pre-school classes named as Winter Rain, Autumn Sky Clouds, Leaves, Summer Sun, Spring Flowers, and Earth Angels.
Children are encouraged to draw, paint, Sculpting, modeling, Drama, Music, Pretend play, Yoga and Sensations. Greenopia's interiors are carefully designed to inspire and encourage children in understanding their interests. The Piazza is the central meeting place for children. The Atelier is the art studio where children work with the art specialist to create theme-related projects. Pretend play is one of the main preschool activities for children because it stimulates interest in what lies inside them and opens the door to a world of endless creativity and possibilities. In the Atelier, children can explore their drama and their performing skills by wearing costumes and performing the roles they admire. Pretend play, is one of the essential preschool activities for children as it sparks their interest in what is hidden inside them and opens the door to a world of limitless possibilities and creativity. In the Atelier, children can explore their drama and acting abilities by wearing costumes of their choice and act the roles they admire. Children participate in activities that help promote sensory games and gross motor skills in the Imagination Blue Blocks which also serves as a gym. Greenopia's color is a result of the children's works on the ceilings. Besides, many of the wall hangings in the preschool are documentation panels tracing the development of different projects carried by different groups of children.

Orientation Tours can be scheduled by calling during office hours. The Nursery management’s team member will take you on a tour and provide further information regarding the childcare program. Accordingly, you will be asked to complete an expression of interest form to which the nursery will respond in a maximum of 5 working days. The completion of the Expression of interest form doesn’t guarantee your child a place at the nursery.
If availability is confirmed and your child is offered a place, you will be requested to submit the necessary documents. Your child will secure a place only if the required documents are submitted along with the settlement of fees.
