GEMS United School is a sprawling green campus with state-of-the-art purpose-built facilities in which students are motivated to participate in their school life actively. The school facilities include spacious classrooms with large windows, 2 full-court indoor gymnasiums, 25 meter swimming pool, a dedicated pool for learners, soccer field, 400m track and field, tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, two large outdoor multi-purpose elementary play areas, multipurpose covered courts for basketball/tennis/badminton, elementary Astroturf field, auditorium, biology and chemistry laboratories, art rooms, a well-resourced library and canteen. Sport is a major area of interest for many students and GEMS United schools offer them the facilities they need to develop their competence.

GEMS United School has a unique program in the field of science and technology, integrating five science areas (chemistry, physics, biology, and astronomy) and different fields of technology (including mechanical design, medical, food and mining technologies) studied under cultural references. The curriculum is structured as such because these areas complement each other and deal with many of the same concepts. The science and technology program is tailored to the age and comprehension level of the students. Given that it is a valuable field of study and highly relevant in the world, GEMS United school ensures that students are brought into the basics before they reach higher and more complex levels of learning.

GEMS United School offers American-curriculum education for students from all over the world delivered by North American and Western-trained teachers. The geographic, ethnic and cultural diversity of the student body is the basis to empower leaders to act in an ethical manner and lead the world responsibly. The American curriculum of GEMS United School is based on AERO Common Core Plus Standards and the high-school Advanced Placement course. Pedagogy follows the research on best practices and focuses on educating independent, critical thinking, reading and writing. Pre-KG and KG1 programs are designed to prepare the children for Common Core curricula while encouraging the unique developmental needs of each child. Maths, science, reading, writing, social studies, Arabic for non-native and native-speaking students as well as Islamic for Muslim students are the common core program from KG2 to Grade 12. In addition, students attend computer science, library, music, arts, language, health, and physical education to contribute to the education of the whole child.

In order to allow students to explore their interests and find new passions, the school offers a broad range of after-school activities (ASA) and extracurricular activities such Math enrichment, as LEGO robotics, dance, scuba diving, chess club, stage makeup, drama, music, engineering, and yearbook and more.

To begin the admission process, complete the online application form. Once you have completed the online application, you will receive an Enquiry number. An acknowledgment email containing the next steps will be sent to the email address you provided.

After receiving the acknowledgment email containing your inquiry number, you will be requested to pay a Registration Fee of AED500. This fee is non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-deductible, and is required along with the requested documents, to proceed with the registration process. The school aims to interview a child and their parents prior to entry and each child might be required to take an age-related placement test to ensure that they are ready for the education to be offered.
