Gems Royal Dubai School is a Primary School following the National Curriculum for England for children from FS to Year 6 (ages 3 to 11) located in Mirdif Area, Dubai. The teachers at Gems Royal are highly qualified, British trained and experienced who focus on the whole child and create a motivational child-centered environment. The school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) and certified as a British School Overseas (BSO).

Other outdoor activities include Swimming, Dance Fusion, Netball, Football, Athletics, Ultimate Frisbee, Gymnastics, Tennis, Rugby, Basketball, and Cross Country Running.

To complete the registration of your child please contact the Admissions Secretary to arrange the submission of the supporting documents and Registration Fee, quoting your Enquiry Number. Supporting documents include a copy of the applicant's UAE ID card or Passport if the UAE ID is not issued, Copy of the parent/sponsor UAE ID card, applicant's birth certificate, current immunisation record, 4 recent passport photographs, Nursery reports (for admission to Foundation Stage), Last two years school reports (for admission to Year 1 to Year 6), Original Transfer Certificate and a non-refundable Registration fee of AED 500.
The admission policy at GEMS Royal does not discriminate against any child or family. An interview is conducted for every child and their parents prior to entry and each child must take an age-related placement test to ensure that he or she is prepared for the high quality education at GEMS school.
The offer of a place is not solely on the entrance test alone and parents should provide the most recent copy of their child's school report when submitting an application form. Places can sometimes be offered against the two latest reports from the child's existing school only if they have English National Curriculum assessments included. If it is difficult to make an accurate assessment from these, students are asked to complete a placement test at the School.
