GEMS American Academy Abu Dhabi is an International co-educational school offering US and IB Curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, located in Khalifa City of Abu Dhabi. GEMS American Academy Abu Dhabi is a sprawling campus with state-of-the-art facilities which include spacious and well-equipped classrooms, specialty classrooms for Science, Technology, Visual Arts and Performing Arts, a Planetarium, 500 seat auditorium, 6 science laboratories, sports hall with 6 courts, 2 swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, outdoor sports pitch, black box theater, and a recording studio. The Science and Technology facilities such as the Planetarium are truly international in nature and students can learn first-hand about science and technology via research and practical learning. In addition to academics, extracurricular activities make it possible for young people to follow individual interests and develop skills.

The education program includes International Baccalaureate (IB), Project AERO (Common Core/American Education Reaches Out), the National Arts Standards and the Ministry of Education of the UAE. Students are taught using various methods and techniques to help them understand, analyze, solve problems and effectively communicate their responses. The Kindergarten adopts a play-based learning method in a happy environment through the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Students become international citizens in an environment that promotes exploration, fun, differentiation, innovation, respect, creativity, communication and interaction. Students of Elementary School are given continuous opportunities to develop PYP attitudes and children work together to explore various perspectives of the world. The combination of American and International Baccalaureate programs provides Secondary School students with opportunities to qualify with US and IB diplomas.

To begin the application process, you must register online through the school website. Once you have completed the online application, you will receive an inquiry number. Once you have received your inquiry number, contact the GAA Admissions office with the required documents to proceed with the completion of the inquiry and ensure admission for your child.
