GEMS Al Khaleej National School (AKNS) is a co-educational school following the American Curriculum for students from KG to Grade 12, located in Al Garhoud, Dubai.

Al Khaleej National School provides a friendly learning atmosphere and has state-of-the-art facilities which include five well-equipped Science Laboratories, three media rooms with printers, computers, internet Promethean band multimedia projector and other resources, two well-resourced libraries with extensive learning resources, a reading area, five computer with 25 computers each, two music rooms with instruments such as drums, recorder, piano, and more, two mosques, multi-purpose hall, kindergarten play area with age-appropriate play equipments, a football pitch, two swimming pool, gymnasium, and a school garden.

Al Khaleej National School Dubai follows the US Curriculum aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English and Maths, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), California State standards for other subjects and the UAE Ministry of Education for Islamic, Arabic, and UAE Social Studies.
Students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 follow the Elementary School program where a child-centered approach is adopted. The Kindergarten program includes songs, rhymes, craft, art, and histories which enable new skills like phonics, numbers, and conversation. Students from grades 1 to 5 develop knowledge in reading, writing, math, science, ICT and physical education. The Middle School learning process focuses on the individual needs of students and increases academic expectations. The middle school focuses on the core program and an enrichment program. The core program includes subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Arabic, Islamic and Computer Studies. The enrichment program includes Physical education, art, music, and cultural enrichment activities. Students are motivated to make a difference during the AKNS High School program to learn how they can affect real change throughout the community, country, and the planet.
Extracurricular activities at the Al Khaleej National School promote students personality and creative skills. Each student will discover and enhance their individual creativity and personality by choosing from a variety of activities which include music, crafts, chess, science, karate clubs, photography and more.
