Foremarke School offers an academically ambitious curriculum designed to extend and challenge our pupils. This is based on the British National Curriculum from Early Years to Year 8. As a Preparatory School, they enhance the curriculum to ensure all children are fully prepared for a successful future.

Each child at Foremarke is encouraged to reach their potential and to contribute to school life. The school supports the inclusion of children from all backgrounds and abilities.

As part of the Admissions process, the school invites all parents to meet with the Headmistress and assess all children.

To begin with, complete the registration form and submit a copy of your child’s passport and a copy of their latest school report which shows the year group in which they have been studying (if applicable) along with the registration fee. Once the school has received the completed registration form, your child will be invited to an assessment session.

An age-appropriate assessment is conducted at Foremarke prior to offering your child a place. The assessment is an opportunity for the school to get to know the child better and in terms of their social competence, maturity, and behavior. The assessment for entry to the Early Years (FS1 and FS2) will normally take the form of an observed play within your child’s nursery. Alternatively, children are welcome to participate in a class at Foremarke.

Formal, age-appropriate assessments in reading, mathematics, and English are usually coupled with a taster morning spent in school for Years 1-8.

Remote assessments will be arranged for international applicants who are unable to attend an assessment in person. Following the Assessment, you will receive a decision via email within three working days.
