Falcon British Nursery is a UK accredited nursery following the EYFS Curriculum for children from birth to 5 years. The nursery is located near the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi.
Falcon British Nursery is committed to being an educating, child-centered, friendly and safe pre-school dedicated to providing world-class training to children fostering life-long learning, leadership qualities and to be better global citizens in a rapidly changing multicultural environment by combining strong UK standards with Arabic hospitality and cultural understanding.
The nursery resources are carefully chosen to increase the learning experience of each child and to provide the highest safety standards. Learning is enhanced by multiple activities including an enriched curriculum, special days, regular field trips, cooperative learning, and technology use.
For each age group, a set of structured benchmarks related to the early learning goals in each field of study is used to evaluate children. Throughout their time, children are evaluated in the Falcon Nursery against these levels and can track their progress and accomplishments individually.
The Early Years Foundation (EYFS) lays down standards to ensure that children learn and develop correctly and that health and safety standards are maintained. It fosters education and learning to ensure children are readily prepared for their school, and it gives the children a wide range of knowledge and skills which will provide the right foundation for a successful future advancing through school and life.
The Falcon offers enrichment programs, which support the curriculum, mission, vision, and values, all day long. The Falcon Fit program is physical education and gymnastics lessons to promote health, exercise, and wellbeing. The nursery has an outstanding music area equipped with play instruments where children’s creativity is enhanced through music and movement. The Falcon Science laboratory is for conducting experiments and exploring the world around them. The sensory garden is full of excitement for nature enthusiasts. The role play area also known as Falcon City has a variety of age-appropriate play equipment.
The nursery also offers Islamic and Arabic classes. The third language at Falcon is French. Falcon British Nursery has a well-resourced library with extensive reading resources. Falcon Cookery Kitchen is where children attend cookery classes where they enjoy measuring and mixing. Drama and productions take place at the Falcon Theatre in the auditorium. Falcon soft play area is a magnificent space with hard foam shapes and more for physical and social development. The nursery also has a theme area, adventure zone, and Falcon Montessori area.
