Fairgreen International School is an IB Continuum school for students from Pre-KG to Grade 12 established in the year 2018, located in the Sustainable City of Dubai.

Fairgreen International School offers the International Baccalaureate Curriculum which includes the Primary Years Program and the Middle Years Program. The program encourages students to excel in studies and individual development, inspiring students an enthusiastic and empathic quest to learn throughout life. IB students strive to become inquirers, experts, principled, thinkers, caring, communicators, risk-takers, and reflective. These characters represent a wide range of human capacities and responsibilities that extend beyond intellectual and academic development.

Early Year students aged 3 and 4 will explore and study topics including literacy, mathematics, science, humanities, Arabic, arts and physical education. Sustainability topics will be incorporated and teaching staff will foster a deep connection to the natural environment through the use of extensive outdoor educational facilities in The Sustainable City.

A curriculum framework of essential elements comprising knowledge, concepts, skills, action, and attitudes are provided in the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) for students aged 5 to 10. The IB Middle Year Program includes eight subject areas which are Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Language and Literature, Mathematics, Arts, Sciences, Design, Physical Education and Health Education.

Fairgreen Fine Arts program includes sketching, printmaking, painting, design, and crafts. Performing Arts program at Fairgreen includes Dance, Drama, Music, musical instruments, Band, and Choir. Sports and athletics include Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Netball, Gymnastics, Swimming, Horse Riding and Cycling. Other After School activities include swimming, gymnastics, soccer, chess, arts, yoga, music and more.

All new students are required to complete the detailed online application form in order to commence the application process.

Once the school has received the application form, student files are reviewed based on previous years’ academic performance, Fairgreen assessment test results, school confidential reports, and personal interview.

All Pre-KG, KG 1 and KG 2 applicants will be asked to attend an interview. Interviews will be held by appointment, and the admissions team will be in touch to set up a suitable date.

Applicants from Grade 1 to 9 who have standardized test scores can submit them and these may be used in lieu of an assessment test at Fairgreen.
