English College Dubai is an international school following the British Curriculum for students from Year 7 to Year 13. The school was established in 1992 and is located in the Al Safa neighborhood of Dubai.

English College Dubai has state-of-the-art purpose-built facilities throughout the campus which includes a gym, swimming facilities, science laboratories, well-resourced libraries, basketball courts, football fields, a canteen, sixth form common room, and an art studio.

The English College curriculum is broad and balanced, recognizes UK guidelines and fulfills the UK national curriculum requirement. The school offer education for all students and a great emphasis is placed on academic excellence. The foundation stage follows the EYFS program and the Primary, Middle and Secondary school follows the UK National Curriculum.

A-level or BTEC qualifications can be selected by students, according to their interests and ability. Students in Key Stage 5 will opt between 3 to 5 optional subjects: Art and Design, Biology, Arabic and Islamic Studies, Business, Computer Science, Chemistry, Drama and Theatre Studies, English Language and Literature, Economics, English Literature, Geography, Law, French, History, Mathematics, Physical Education, Media Studies, Sociology, Physics, Psychology, Politics, and/or Spanish. The BTEC options include Business and Travel and Tourism.

The school encourages students to take full advantage of a wide range of enrichment activities which include art, drama, dance, cricket, rock climbing, athletics, football, netball, rounders, rugby, swimming, music, TEDx program, Rugby 7s, and more.

Admission will be offered on a first-come basis. Once all available places have been filled, applicants will be placed on a waiting list. 

Admission decisions are based on the outcome of an age-appropriate assessment and where relevant, a student’s previous educational record. This ensures that the teachers working with your child are able to very quickly meet their learning needs and provide excellent quality education.
