Dwight School Dubai is a comprehensive International Baccalaureate Curriculum school for students aged 3 to 19 and is located in the Al Barsha area of Dubai.

The goal of Dwight School is to nurture students' potential to learn, to grow and to improve the world. Dwight School Dubai is an IB World School offering the IB Primary Years Program, IB Middle Years Program, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

The Primary Years Program (PYP) Curriculum adopts a play-based and student-centered approach to teaching and learning that encourages children to explore and connect to the world around them and build a strong sense of self. The school focuses on the child's development as an inquirer both within and beyond the school. The Primary Years Program forms the basis of academic rigor and innovation which will be followed by students throughout their study journey. Teachers encourage students to become self-confident and independent thinkers with the help of Dwight's personalized learning tradition.

The Middle Years Program (MYP) Curriculum has eight core subjects which include Language and Literature, Individuals and Societies, Language Acquisition (Arabic and any one of French, Spanish, German or Mandarin), Sciences, Mathematics, Design, Physical and Health Education, and Arts. As per KHDA regulations, students study Islamic Studies and Arabic. 

The IB Diploma Program (DP) provides an educational rigor and innovation framework that encourages students to challenge themselves and use their range of knowledge in the real world. Dwight School Dubai has state-of-the-art facilities including a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool and a learner’s pool, well-resourced library with extensive learning resources and more.

Students will develop and discover their interests and talents through extracurricular programs that reinforce their classroom experience, promote skill development and build self-esteem. Alongside the students share rich experiences and build friendships.

Types of extracurricular activities offered at Dwight School Dubai include languages, sports, community, innovation, and arts. Languages include Quran Reading & Recitation, Arabic Writing, French, Mandarin, Russian, Korean, Hindi, Italian, Dutch, and German. Sporting activities include Basketball, Volleyball, Netball, Dodgeball, Swimming, Gymnastics, Tennis, Chess Club, Squash, Fencing, Equestrian Sport, and Yoga. Community activities include Mindfulness, Community Service, Conservation Club, Leadership Club, and Model United Nations. Innovation includes Robotics, Coding, Entrepreneurship Club, Creators Club, Math and Science Club, Choir, Public, Speaking and Debating. Arts include Film and Media, Photography, Art Club, Drama, Orchestra, Dance, Gold and metalsmithing, and Band.

To begin the application process, complete the Dwight School Dubai online Application. To complete the application process, an application fee of AED 1000 (non-refundable, non-transferrable and non-deductible) along with the required documents. 

An assessment will be scheduled upon Application submission. The purpose of the assessment is to determine the student’s readiness to attend Dwight School Dubai and to determine a possible need for additional English Language support or additional Learning Support required by the student.

If a student is out of the country and unable to attend an assessment in person, a conditional acceptance based on previous reports and previous school recommendations may be provided. However, the student will be required to complete the assessment once they have relocated to the UAE.

Once the assessment has been completed, the student’s file is sent to the Admissions Committee for review and a decision will be communicated to the family within a week.
