Dunecrest American School is a K-12 International School following the US Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP). Dunecrest opened its doors in 2018 and is located in the Al Barari area of Dubai.

Dunecrest campus includes fully-equipped classrooms, spaces for performing arts, music and graphic arts, science and technology laboratories, sports facilities and more. The campus is composed of working spaces and breakout rooms for collaborative teaching and learning, while two well-resourced libraries serve the primary, middle and high school students. The campus also includes outdoor learning areas, student support areas for learning and counseling and high-speed wireless connectivity. Laptops or desktop computers, screens or interactive whiteboards, and additional technology tools are provided in classrooms to assist learners and educators. Dunecrest technology offers web-based multimedia tools dynamic online classroom atmospheres and robust cloud storage systems.

Elementary students have access to three separate shaded play areas with age-appropriate equipment. The multipurpose hall is also used as a gym for Elementary students. Students from the middle school and high school have a dedicated playground and a 1500 square meter indoor gym. Sports facilities include a shaded swimming pool, soccer field, running track, basketball, volleyball courts and more.

The American Creative Curriculum is followed by Dunecrest’s Early Childhood in Pre-KG and KG1. The American curriculum of Dunecrest American School for KG TO Grade 12 is based on AERO Standards and the US Common Core. Grade 11 and 12 students have the opportunity to opt for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

Submit the supporting documents by uploading them on the application form or emailing them to admissions@dunecrest.ae.

For applicants with school experience, the current school must complete the Dunecrest Confidential Report and directly email it to us on admissions@dunecrest.ae prior to setting the assessment date.

On the assessment day, the parent/guardian must make the AED500 application/testing fee payment in cash or cheque to the accounts department before the assessment.

The assessment date will be confirmed once the documents have been reviewed by the admissions team.

Admissions decisions follow clearly established procedures involving staff members in admissions, school leaders, counselors, and teacher specialists. In the review process, the Director’s decision is final regarding all applications for admissions.
