Dubai International Academy is an International School offering the IB Curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, located in the Emirates Hills area of Dubai.

DIA is a sprawling 350,000 square feet campus with state-of-the-art modern facilities throughout the campus. The facilities include a well-resourced and networked library, specialist rooms for music, art, dance, language learning, drama, design and technology, well-equipped science laboratories, design technology laboratories, computer labs, outdoor learning areas, exam hall, 4 multi-purpose climate-controlled halls for sports and other activities, 2 swimming pools, outdoor playing field and shaded play areas, shaded outdoor basketball and tennis ball courts, sky garden, and cafeteria.
Children aged 3 to 12 follow the International Baccalaureate's Primary Years Programme (PYP). The program focuses on developing the whole child and adopts a trans-disciplinary and inquiry-based learning approach. It gives students a basic solid foundation for the MYP, DP and IBCP programs. The PYP fosters the development of social, thinking, research, and communication and self-management skills.
The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) prepares students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 for the IB Diploma program. Subject groups at this stage include Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individual and Societies, Design, Mathematics, Arts, Science, Physical Education, and Islamic studies.
The IB Diploma Program (DP) is for students from Grade 11 to 12 and is a two year rigorous, balanced, academic education program which prepares students for their success in university and outside life. It addresses a young adult’s intellectual, emotional, social, and physical well-being. The IB DP Curriculum includes the DP Core and Six Subject Groups. The Six Subject Groups are Language Acquisition, Language and Literature studies, Experimental Science, Electives, Mathematics, Arts, Societies, and Individuals. The Diploma Program Core includes The Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) Program.
Dubai International Academy offers a wide range of Co-Curricular Activities for students which include art, musical instruments, drama, reading club, organized sports activities, karate, science clubs, photography, computer courses, and more.

Applications must be completed online through the school website. If there are no places available at the time when the application is placed onto the school’s waiting list.
When a place becomes available then the school will contact the first eligible applicant and invite him/her to attend an assessment.
The admission process for each child needs to be completed within 5 working days of the assessment if the student is based in Dubai.
Following assessment, the school management will decide upon whether a place is to be offered or not, based upon all of the information from assessment and provided in the application.
The decision taken by the school is final, and all admissions follow the guidelines and regulations set by the KHDA.
Parents/guardians must respond to an offer within 7 days of receipt, in order to secure the place.
Prior to admission, a Transfer Certificate (attested where required) is to be submitted.
