Dubai College is a secondary school offering the British Curriculum for students from Year 7 to Year 13. The school was founded in 1978 and is located in the Al Sufouh area of Dubai.

Dubai College is a sprawling nineteen-acre campus situated in the heart of Dubai with extensive playing fields and school buildings.
Besides the classrooms, which are bright, airy and well-equipped, the specialist facilities include a science block of 21 laboratories, 10 computer suites, three design and technology suites, 4 art studios, a music centre, a canteen, recording studio, 12 practice areas, 3 drama studios, a well-resourced library, Sixth Form Centre with 250 study bays and a 900-seat state-of-the-art auditorium.
A 160-seat lecture theatre and collaborative learning space are available at the Teaching and Learning Centre, allowing students to explore different learning methods. Sports facilities include rugby, cricket, and football pitches, cricket nets, netball courts, tennis courts, sports hall and a swimming pool.
The curriculum seeks to develop the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills required by every student to succeed in an ever-changing and competitive world.
The Lower School (Year 7 to Year 9) curriculum provides students with a wide exposure and development of their learning skills through a range of subjects. Students at this stage study Mathematics, English, French or Spanish, History, Science, Arabic, UAE Social Studies, Geography, Islamic Studies (for Muslim), Music, PE, Drama, Art, Design and Technology, Computer Science and Digital Skills. Students can also opt for Latin in Year 9 and start their Biology, Physics and Chemistry GCSE studies. Furthermore, all students will undertake Moral education.
Students will study 10 GCSE’s in the Middle School. The core subjects at this stage are Mathematics, English Language and Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Islamic Education for Muslim students. UAE Social Studies are also taught in Year 10. The 4 optional subjects offered at Dubai College are Arabic, Spanish or French, Computer Science, Geography, History or Economics, Art, Drama, Design and Technology, Music, Latin, or Physical Education.
At the beginning of year 12, every student opts to study the four A-levels. On entry into Year 13, a majority of students drop one of their subjects. A level subjects are Arabic, Biology, Art and Design, Chemistry, Design and Technology, Computer Science, Drama & Theatre Studies, English Literature, Economics, the Extended Project (AS), Further Mathematics, French, Geography, Latin, History, Mathematics, Physical Education, Music, Physics, Psychology, Politics, and Spanish.
Dubai College offers a wide range of extracurricular activities to ensure education experience is broad, balanced and enhanced. Some of the activities offered at Dubai College are Football, Frisbee, Linguistics, Dancing, Dodgeball, Volleyball, Basketball, Bridge-Building, Netball, Board games, Swimming, Drama, History and Arabic quizzes, Chess, Recycling, Debating, and Waterpolo.
