Dovecote Green Primary School follows the National Curriculum for England to children of ages 3 to 11 (FS1 – Year 6). The school is within the Green Community, Dubai Investments Park 1 and physically connected to the Green Community West residential area, enabling children to walk or cycle to school. The curriculum is delivered by highly qualified, and the experienced UK trained teachers who are dedicated to providing students with high quality education.

The school has 30 classrooms with adjoining toilet facilities and access to an outdoor study area. All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and have access to a multipurpose central hall for weekly assemblies and for dining together as a school. There are two well-resourced libraries as well for all children in the school. In addition, there are two swimming pool, large multipurpose sports hall, dance studio and outdoor areas with shades and Astroturf, which makes it ideal for children to play.
DGPS’s education is a process of discovery, learning, and maturation as the students’ progress through the key phases of their school life. The National Curriculum for England helps students grow as independent and lifelong learners and fosters a spirit of intellectual curiosity and knowledge. This is achieved through formal preparatory time and establishing a connection between academic and extracurricular opportunities. English and Mathematics are the central elements that are both rigorously supported by proven and traditional teaching methods and also with the use of latest innovations in modern practice, such as interactive whiteboards, ICT tools, and iPads. In addition to academics, a wide range of extracurricular activities are provided both individual and team building, where students develop creative, linguistic and sporting skills.

Dovecote Green Primary School accepts admissions from boys and girls from the age of 3 years old. The school academic year runs from September to June but they admit pupils throughout the year if places are available, subject to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) regulations.
An application form is required for each child and must be completed in full. It is essential that all sections of the application form are completed. This should then be submitted to the school Admissions department together with the application fee of 500AED and the following document: (1) A copy of both parents passport, visa and Emirates ID (2) A copy of your childs passport, visa and Emirates ID (3) A copy of your childs passport (4) 4 x passport photos of your child (5) previous years school or nursery report (5) Any relevant medical/ professional reports.
