Cranleigh is a boarding a day school following the British Curriculum from FS to Year 13. Cranleigh is located on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi and opened its doors from September 2014. The school integrates the British education with a flavor of Abu Dhabi, Emirati culture and the cosmopolitan nature of the city.

Cranleigh fosters children to be independent, thoughtful, well-rounded and confident about their ability to question, analyze and express opinions. The curriculum not only gives its students exceptionally good examination results, but it also encourages pupils to learn in order to prepare them for the future broader world. The school strives to balance the academic disciplines with the richness of extra-curricular activities.

Assemblies, house events, extra-curricular activities and wellbeing days form an integral part of Cranleigh Curriculum. Music, Drama, Dance, Art, and Design combine to form an important and integral part of school life. Music is an important and integral part of Cranleigh school life, as is drama, dance, art, and design. In every term, regular formal and informal concerts, presentations and events are included in the school calendar. Cranleigh Abu Dhabi works closely with Cranleigh UK and conducts bi-annual music exchanges, where children from both schools work together to celebrate and develop their musical skills in workshops and performances. Louvre Abu Dhabi, NYUAD’s Arts Center and the Manarat Al Saadiyat culture and arts center are all within minutes of Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, and hence the students benefit from arts and performance opportunities.

Students since the early years, participate in small studio productions, drama, and plays. Cranleigh strives for all-around excellence of students.

All Cranleigh students are encouraged to participate in sports programs. Sports facilities at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi include an Indoor Sports Complex comprising of a large sports hall, with 2 basketball courts and a dance studio, two shaded swimming pools (25m competition and 10m beginner), two grass pitches, two junior school netball/tennis courts and three senior school netball/tennis courts.

The Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior students are provided with a wide range of co-curricular activities that include recreational and competitive sports program, music program, individual instrumental lessons, ensembles, concerts, choirs, Drama productions and performances, Educational day Trips and Visits, International Excursions, House Events and Competitions and lot more.

All children will be invited to sit an evaluation – either at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi or in your current school if you are still resident overseas or in another Emirate.
