After summer break, Dubai schools gear up to re-open!

Hosted by the Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, more than 500 principals and school leaders from private schools in Dubai attended an online session on the re-opening of schools in the new academic year. The focus of sessions was on the health and safety measures schools will take to keep everyone safe.

Creating over 4,100 new seats & providing parents with more education choices, Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) announced that four new schools are set to open in Dubai in the 2020-21 academic year. The schools opening this year are located in Abu Hail, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Jebel Ali and Al Rashidiya. These four schools will offer innovative education offerings with a choice of UK, IU & Indian curriculum.

According to the recently released Distance Learning Evaluation (DLE), more than two-thirds of private schools in Dubai are offering a ‘developed’ level of distance learning. The DLE supports schools to identify areas of improvement and helps parents to make the right school choice for their children, focusing on high-quality distance education.
