Aspen Heights British School is a British Curriculum School located in the Old Al Bahya district in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The school follows the National Curriculum of England for children aged 3 to 11 years old (Foundation Stage to Year 6) and offers a personalized and high quality British education for the local community and environment. The Secondary School is all set to open with Year 7 and 8 in September 2019. Physical activities are important for student well-being; hence Aspen Heights provides a wide range of sports facilities which include a large multi-purpose hall/ gymnasium, astro pitch, outdoor sports court, a dance studio, an indoor 25m swimming pool, and age-appropriate shaded outdoor play areas. The school provides well-equipped facilities for art and music as well as specialist music teachers who encourage children of all age groups to get involved and build their self-confidence, and creative skills. The school integrates technology including iPads and tablets, and control technology in Foundation stage classes. Children are given Chrome books from Year 1. Aspen Heights British School is an inclusive school that welcomes students of all abilities and backgrounds, providing a supportive and international environment for your child to grow in.

Each child will be invited for a short playdate or assessment (depending on their age), as part of the application process.

Children will be placed as per their age on 31st August for FS1 to Year 2, and according to their next progressive year group for Year 3 upwards.

To begin with, complete the online application form available on the website. Once your application has been successfully submitted, you will receive an automated confirmation email. The School will then contact you for the submission of documents to support your application.

Once the school reviewed your application, if appropriate, you will be invited to attend either a playdate for students applying for FS1 and FS2 or a short assessment for students applying for Years 1 and above. Once the playdate/assessment has taken place they will endeavor to respond to you within five working days.

Once you receive a formal offer, you will have 10 days to accept, sign and return the acceptance offer. When the school authorities receive the signed acceptance, you will be issued a registration fee invoice for 5% of the annual fee, or full term fee, dependent on the time of the year the offer is made. The registration fee of 5% of the annual tuition fee is deductible from the first term’s school fees. Your child’s place will be confirmed on receipt of payment and submission of all requested documents.
