Art Village Nursery was established in 2015 and follows the Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum for children from 12 months to 4 years of age. The nursery is located in the Jumeirah neighborhood of Dubai.

The nursery aims to listen continuously to the child and encourage them to develop and learn using their thoughts and ideas. Children are challenged by their interest in creative activity, science, song and music, arithmetic, theatre, dance and movement, drama, and arts and design. These areas are included in the daily educational activities. The nursery builds a close relationship with each child. The kindergarten is a social and cultural venue for preparing children for life within an international community. Awareness of one's cultural heritage and participation in others' culture help children to understand other people's circumstances and values.

Art Village Nursery works according to the Swedish preschool program and offers a safe, healthy and secure environment to encourage the development of children physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally and creatively. The nursery encourages the development and learning of all children and promotes a lifelong desire for learning. The nursery actively and consciously influences and encourages children to develop an understanding of democratic values and practices.

Every child is unique, and they develop and learn in various ways and at different rates. Art Village Nursery thus follows up on the development of a child through detailed observations and learning documentation rather than through stringent assessments and guidelines for development which only adds pressure on the child.

Art Village Nursery aims to develop an environment of mutual trust and respect to reinforce the self-esteem of the child. In building warm relationships with children, the faculty creates an atmosphere in which children can take up new challenges.

The Reggio Emilia approach plays an important role in the learning of expressive arts and fosters a unique mutual learning link between the teacher and the child. Detailed observations and learning documentation are taken into account at all levels.

Song and music play a major role in spreading the joy and self-esteem of children and is good for the development of language, and motor skills. Studies have shown that music develops a child's potential in areas like psycho-motor abilities, verbal ability, memory, critical thinking, and hearing. Children’s songs and nursery rhymes help children learn new words and expressions.

Children express their feelings and moods through dance and movement. Dance and movement activities increase motor skills and self-esteem of a child. Dance lessons help children improve their social and communication skills, learn how to work as a team, build a sense of trust and cooperation and develop new friendships.

The educational drama program aims to allow children to express their feelings and personalities both in their bodies and verbally through dramatic improvisation exercises. Children learn to listen through theatre and drama which increases their concentration and self-confidence.

Creative activities such as art, drawings, texts, photos, color and design, and films stimulate children's imagination, creativity, and language. These activities create understanding and involvement and promote the self-esteem of a child. Art programs encourage children to be creative and help them make maximum use of their imagination.
