Al-Mizhar American Academy was established in 2005 and provides state-of-the-art modern facilities throughout the campus which include ICT suites, Music rooms, Science laboratories, Pottery room, art studio, two well-resourced libraries, a large outdoor sports field, shaded outdoor swimming pool, Kindergarten playroom, multi-purpose sports hall, shaded outdoor playground, wireless internet connectivity throughout the campus, and Cafeteria.

The Early childhood program emphasizes socialization, developmental skills, curriculum inquiry and provides a strong basis for academic competencies and positive learning attitudes. The school is co-educational from Pre-KG to KG 2. The Elementary school from the program constitutes a very child-oriented, practical, multi-sensory teaching approach. Core subjects at this stage include reading, writing, mathematics, spelling, social studies, science, Arabic, Information and Communication Technology, Art, Music, Media Skills Library, PE, Moral Education, and UAE Social Studies. The middle school curriculum focuses on core subject English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. This academic program addresses every student’s intellectual, artistic, physical, emotional and social needs to build a lifetime of skills in a unique educational environment for all girls. High School students become more independent, take responsibility for their education, and take on leadership roles in the school and the outside community.

Al-Mizhar American Academy offers students of all ages comprehensive, extracurricular activities that improve their school lives and broadens their experience. The Co-curricular activities enable students, to engage with their fellow students undergo activities and challenges that benefit their overall learning, emotional health, physical, personal growth, and development.
