Abu Dhabi International School is a co-educational school offering high standard quality education for children from K-12, located in the Al Rowdah area of Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi International School has implemented a variety of curricula, including the US, British, and the International Baccalaureate Program. The core curriculum is modified very effectively, allowing students for a smooth transition from the US Curriculum to the British program as well as the IB DP. The curriculum provides students with rigor and challenge, ensuring that they achieve excellent progress in academics.
The AIS Curriculum provides education in a variety of fields including languages (English, French, and Arabic), sciences, mathematics, and social sciences, visual arts, information, and communication technology, performing arts, humanities, and physical education. The program offers innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities with strong cross-curricular relationships with the UAE society. The curriculum includes constant personality development programs, global awareness, understanding and appreciation of other cultures.
AIS follows the US curriculum tied to the Common Core State Standards in Math and English and the Massachusetts NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) for science. The Abu Dhabi International School program is linked to US standards and follows best international practices that enable students to obtain a US High School Diploma. The curriculum also allows students to attend the Advanced Placement program as well.
For grade 11 and grade 12 students, AIS provides the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The IBDP program can be undertaken by students who have successfully completed the grade 10 IGCSE grade 10.
Based on the best UK practices, AIS offers the British Curriculum and a chance to sit at IGCSE as well as at GCE. Both exams are internationally renowned and allow students to study worldwide at universities.

Complete the Student Application Form through the school website.
Print the Student Recommendation Form for Entering KGII–Grade 2 or the Student Recommendation Form for Entering Grades 3–11. Carefully read the form and complete the relevant sections before submitting it to your child’s current school to be completed. The form must be completed and signed by the respondent, signed and stamped by the principal, and submitted to Abu Dhabi International School in an officially sealed envelope.
Take an appointment for an initial interview with the Admissions Committee and submit the required documents to the Registrar.
When Stage 1 is completed successfully, applicants are given a username and password to complete the Online Application on the school portal. Once the completed Online Application is verified by the Admissions Office, applicants to Grades 1-11 will be scheduled for a placement test, and KG1 and KG2 applicants will be scheduled for an orientation session. Based on the results of the admission process, a formal letter of acceptance will be emailed to the parents of the applicant.
